On October 4th, 2024, the Inclusion4Schools (I4S) project and its dedicated portal were officially presented at the Awareness Raising Event back-to-back to the OkosOvi Conference in Romania. At the event, which attracted 74 participants, the I4S initiative and the SmartKindergarten portal of the OkosOvi project were presented one after the other, showcasing their joint efforts to promote educational innovation and inclusion. The I4S short film was also shown to the participants.
The Inclusion4Schools project is designed to create more inclusive learning environments by equipping schools with tools, resources, and strategies to support students with diverse needs. Its presentation alongside the SmartKindergarten portal, which focuses on early childhood education, underscored a holistic approach to leveraging technology for the benefit of both younger and school-aged learners.
With 74 educators, policymakers, and innovators in attendance, the event provided a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and foster collaboration. The unveiling of the I4S portal marks a significant milestone in promoting inclusion across schools in Romania and beyond.
