Mapping existing quality inclusive education training programmes within the South East Europe Region
The design of the mapping study “Inclusive Education Training Programmes” aimed to identify and analyze existing modules and programs relevant to inclusive education across the region. The study focused on gathering data to inform the enhancement of current teacher education activities, utilizing field visits and workshops to validate findings and generate insights. Various components of the activity system model were employed to map diverse training activities, ranging from initial teacher education to continuing professional development and mentorship programs. The results highlighted a spectrum of initiatives provided by diverse entities, showcasing varied methods and outcomes. The study emphasized the importance of understanding and addressing the different phases of professional development, from initial training to ongoing support and mentorship, to foster inclusive education practices effectively.
