The first interim meeting of our project was held on 17th-18th June. Due to the pandemic, it was an online event.
All consortium members, the Project Officer from Brussels and representatives of the two accompanying RIA projects attended the meeting.
The first morning was dedicated to reports of the previous project activities and results. In the afternoon experts of Oltalom Charity Society and of Cega informed the audience about the work packages that are about to start: WP2 Proposals for EU Research Standards and WP3 Support for Community-centred Approaches. Participants could discuss the concepts presented and the coming tasks.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the two accompanying RIA projects: SMOOTH and PIONEERED to introduce themselves and also to discuss a preliminary agenda of the common meeting of September.
The second day was dedicated to the first official meeting of the Steering Board. While project leaders discussed management issues, the rest of the project team could discuss many topics of their professional interest. To close the meeting all participants joined in a nearly two-hour creative and fun team building activity.
It was a successful event that summed up the results of the project and also indicated oncoming tasks and deadlines. It provided an excellent basis to continue our cooperation.
